As Predicted, John Daly Is Back Out On The Golf Course Less Than 24 Hours After Being Rushed To The Hospital With A Collapsed Lung

CANTON, Miss. — John Daly was out of the hospital and playing golf again Sunday less than 24 hours after he was stricken on the course with what he says was a collapsed lung. The two-time major champion was taken by ambulance to Baptist Medical Center on Saturday after he collapsed on the 18th tee during an outing at Deerfield Country Club. Daly said doctors ran tests and X-rays but found no other serious problems besides the lung.

John fucking Daly!  Back on the golf course less than 24 hours after being rushed to the hospital. Just like I said he would.  He is our greatest American.  No way a little stumble on the tee box and a collapsed lung was going to keep him away from the game he loves.  That’s not who he is. Other golfers would’ve taken a few days off to get their feet under them before teeing it up again. Not JD. Pedal to the medal going 200 miles per hour at all times.  He’s absolutely the type of guy who will leave the hospital before the doctor clears him.  Walk right out the front door in his XXL gown and be on the look out for the nearest cig and a lighter.  Is that lifestyle at least partly what put him in the hospital in the first place?  I mean, probably but at the end of the day you can’t deny who you are.  And he’s John Daly all the time, for better or worse.  Now make him the next Ryder Cup captain already.
